Последняя вещь, которую Выходец из Убежища ожидал бы увидеть в Пустоши. Когда ему надоест любоваться этим восьмым чудом света, он может смело приближаться к постройке, не удивляясь, когда она исчезнет, и взяв сенсор движения на память.
Появление[]
Полицейская будка появляется только в Fallout.
За кулисами[]
Локация является отсылкой к британскому телевизионному сериалу «Доктор Кто», в котором главный персонаж путешествовал во времени и пространстве на машине TARDIS (Time And Relative Dimension In Space), замаскированной под полицейскую будку.

- Леонард Боярский отметил, что данная локация была создана ещё до того момента, когда разработчики определились с окончательным жанром игры — постапокалипсис в мире постъядерных США, которые застряли в эстетике 1950-х гг.. После одобрения жанра арт-директором Р. Неслером Леонард был немного смущён тем, что явления из специальных встреч не стали вписываться в правила и логику мира Fallout[2].

- ↑ Fallout 25th Anniversary: I talked to Rob Nestler... ...at the time this look he looked like at me like i was crazy but they had enough faith in me to let me just do it. So Jason totally got it immediately he thought that was really cool. We had already created a bunch of characters, bunch of the models for characters we've done a decent amount of artwork at that but there was still obvisiously a whole bunch of artwork to be done or we wouldn't have able to make that change. Um so it's still fairly early on but that's wh you have that like it's funny because the it was we were talking before we started the this podcast that um or the stream that um you know you can find that crashed... Flying sauser in the desert with the velvet painting of Elvis... Well technically that doesen't fit in the world in the rules of the Fallout world because it's kind of supposed to be this idealized 1950s so it was not like the actual 1950s. It was like the powers that be in advertising that they said the 1950 was going to be so there would be no Elvis because that's definitely not what they though the 50-s was going to be. But it was a real mishmash obviously... ..Doctor Who (Tardis) shows up at one point in the random encounters...
